The artworks on the Portfolio page are all created from photographs I have taken on the walks. I enjoy using mixed media and part of that is gathering materials along the way. Seaweed that has been washed up, wafer thin rusted fragments of metal, sandstone, slate, dried grasses, and more. I feel this gives me a connection with the place
Living not far from the coast has given me a great opportunity to explore my ideas and develop a strong sense of the landscape and its significance
Throughout my life I have always been involved in art in one form or another – Painting, Life Drawing, Enamelling, Mosaics and Bead Blasted Decorative Glass Panels - creating individual designs for people’s homes and businesses
